WTF is Tribal Feast?
Is it an outdoor magazine? A music blog? Recipes for camping? Honestly, Tribal Feast is all the above! The common theme here is affordable adventure with good food and cool people. We also like to call what we do Adventure Picnicking, but the website covers much more than that. So, if you like to go on outdoor adventures but are on a budget, this is a great place to get some tips on affordable outdoor fun and learn about some great cheap gear. You can get a more metaphysical sense of our mission on our Welcome to the Tribe message.
Where is Tribal Feast located?
Our aim is to cover the Tribal Feasts happening all over the planet. Our home base, however, is Athens, Georgia, the home of great indie music bands like the B-52s, R.E.M., Pylon, Neutral Milk Hotel, and Of Montreal. Music is a big part of Tribal Feast – and because of our home base, we will definitely have some notable indie music guests appearing from time to time.
Can I send you my music to review?
Sorry, but we don’t review music. Why? Because ALL music is good. So keep expressing yourself!!! The best way to have you or your band promoted by Tribal Feast is to reach out to us on social media. If you have a cool recipe or know of something awesome to see while your out there on tour, we would especially want to hear about it! Our editorial calendar is slammed, but if something is really cool and is a good fit for the tribe, we may just jump on it!
Does Tribal Feast make money off ads and reviews?
The short answer is yes. It’s expensive to keep a website up and running and filled with good content, and then there is all gas and travel expenses if we have to go on the road for a story. But the bottom line is that we never want Tribal Feast to be cluttered with awful click bait ads and annoying pop ups. So we are trying to defray costs with affiliate links and static ads that we hope are not too intrusive. We appreciate your support, and that happens every time you try out a product and service we’ve found to be useful and worthwhile.
